Growing up in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley surrounded by rolling hills,  farms, and beautiful mountains gave me a deep love of nature and animals, especially horses.  I began riding at the age of six and have worked with horses ever since. 

Animals and nature helped me feel connected to a universal source of goodness or God.  But as a teenager that sense of connectedness got lost.  I searched for meaning, belonging and purpose, even tried drugs and alcohol, but didn’t find the answers I was looking for.   I graduated from college, started my career and got married, but none of these things filled the emptiness in life and I was often engulfed in a deep depression.

Yearning for answers, I reconnected with a book I read while growing up, Science and Health with Key to the

Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. This book reveals God as divine Love whose ever-present goodnessembraces all and causes no evil, disease, or death.   As I began to recognized my relationship with divine Love, I felt God’s care and grace transform my life.  The depression was healed, my marriage grew stronger, and my life was filled with new meaning and purpose. 

My experience using this system of healing as explained in Science and Health has now spanned over seventeen years.   Through prayer based treatment I have effectively helped people, as a Christian Science Practitioner, with all types of problems, (physical, emotional, or financial) to successfully find wholeness, answers, healing, cure, and hope.  Animals can be effectively treated too.
